Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 October 2026

Spectra Publish (at publish.spectraprod.com) is run by Spectra. It lets you post a video to your own TikTok account from a web browser. This policy explains what it receives, what it keeps and what it doesn't.

What we receive from TikTok

When you sign in with TikTok, you allow Spectra Publish to use:

To show you the posting options, we also read your account's current posting settings from TikTok: who you can post to, whether comments, Duet and Stitch are available, and the longest video your account can post.

What we keep, and where

We don't run a database. Your TikTok access tokens are encrypted and kept only in a secure cookie in your own browser. Our server can read them only while your browser is making a request. The cookie expires after 30 days, or straight away when you sign out.

Your videos and captions are never stored. Your video passes from your browser through our server to TikTok in pieces and isn't saved anywhere on the way. We don't keep copies, thumbnails, captions or a history of your posts.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes requests to run the service and may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for a short time for security and reliability.

What we don't do

Removing access and deleting data

Signing out deletes the cookie that holds your tokens and revokes Spectra Publish's access at TikTok. You can also remove access in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions. Because we store nothing else, that is everything we hold about you.

Children

Spectra Publish is not meant for anyone under the minimum age TikTok allows in their country.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
